At Across Polaris, we believe music is destiny, encounter, and fire. And today, that fire burns stronger than ever.

With immense pride and racing hearts, we announce that Samuli Federley (@samulifederley), an outstanding Finnish guitarist 🇫🇮 and a dear friend, is the force behind unleashing all the guitar power in our new single “Carpe Diem.”

This is no small detail: Carpe Diem marks a turning point in the history of Across Polaris, becoming the very first song in which the band features real guitars. A new chapter. A new language. A new sonic dimension.

Our story with Samuli began a couple of years ago in Shanghai, one of those encounters that are anything but accidental. Just a few conversations were enough to know that we had to create music together someday. The connection was immediate: the same vision, the same respect for music, the same creative hunger. That “someday” has finally arrived… and it arrived with force.

Samuli is not only a formidable guitarist, but also a musician with soul, character, and relentless energy. In Carpe Diem, his riffs, textures, and crushing chugs don’t merely accompany the song — they push it forward, challenge it, and expand the universe of Across Polaris into more intense territories of prog rock and prog metal.

This single is more than just a new song.

It is a statement.

It is about living the now.

It is Carpe Diem in its purest form.

Thank you, Samuli, for your talent, dedication, and human warmth. It is an honor to share music with you.

Stay close… because what’s coming brings roaring guitars and a more powerful Across Polaris than ever before.

Rock on. 🤘🌌
